Bonded retainers
Bonded retainers are fitted to minimise relapse. They are soft stainless steel wires cemented to the inside of your lower front teeth and they stay on permanently. Very often it is not necessary to have upper bonded retainers particularly when the bite is perfect.
We shall continue to look after you for at least two years with retainer checkup appointments.
Removable retainers
They are clear plastic retainers that can be taken in and out of the mouth. You will be required to wear them at night usually on the upper teeth only.
